Really pretty room decorations, gifts (mother\'s day is coming), and centerpieces for parties or weddings. These Mason Jar Lights are fun crafts ideas for easy DIY and summer DIY! How to Tint Mason Jars, So Simple the Kids Did It (http://handsonaswegrow.com/how-to-tin...) The 2 Ingredients you need to tint the jars are #1 food coloring, (we used McCormick Neon Food Coloring for these) #2 Elmers School Glue (or Mod Podge works too) Use little bowls to mix a few tablespoons of glue (or Mod Podge) and a few drops of food coloring, then paint the inside of the jars with this mixture by either using a paint brush or by pouring the mix into the jar and rolling it around until all of the inside is covered. Next, turn the jars upside down on wax paper and let the excess paint drip out for 10 minutes. After the excess paint has drained out, turn the jars right side up and place them on a cookie sheet. Put the glass mason jars into a cool over and turn the oven on to 350 degrees. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Carefully take the hot jars out of the oven and let cool completely before placing in the lights.
